Sorry to be Mister Broken Record here, but any updates from the horses mouth about when we're getting to be getting our posters and our bonus CDs. It's coming up on seven months now ... given that it seems like no one who ordered the Seinking Ships package ever got their posters, it doesn't bode well.

GUYS - It's fixed. Thanks John.
Let the good times roll! |

Is there any way to get the bonus disc if you didn't order from the label? I didn't know about it before I went down to my local record shop and bought my copy.
What are the songs on it, anyways?

I was wondering if anyone's poster and/or bonus disk has turned up yet? (I am slightly puzzled as to why the bonus disks weren't sent out with the albums. Surely that would have been at least a thousand dollars cheaper for Empryean than posting them separately, several months later.)

I ordered IS from amazon.com (along with Katy Perry's cd "One Of The Boys")so it should get here soon... :D
I know I'm going to love it... |

Finally got my copy of IS (perhaps the last person to get one!?) and am most pleased.

Wow. My CD finally arrived from Empryean. And, despite all my "issues" with the ordering process over the last three-and-a-half months, I have to say that the album is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Eric - it's easily the best thing you've done so far, and that's really saying something. The tunes are fantastic, and the production sounds amazing. I was listening to "That Kiss of Life" as I was driving to University tonight, as the sun was setting over the clear blue winter sky, and it just sounded breathtakingly wonderful. Eric - sorry for al the bitching about Empryean mailorder over the last few months. I still have no idea why my CD took three and a half months for my CD to arrive, but ... well ... I'm glad to say that it was worth the wait.

ditto the last two guys. One question though. Are your records really just gonna get better and better? From the first one to now they just get better and I don't understand because almost nobody does that. The Beatles and XTC did it, and there are others but man, it's really rare.
I was a huge Cardinal fan so when It's Heavy In Here came out I was thrilled but expected a sophomore slump creatively. That didn't happen. And then you vanished which was confusing. And then it all started up again like nothing had happened in those 10 years. It makes me wonder what your records would be like now had you just kept making records the whole time. that is the kind of idea that drives me crazy. I bet it drives you nuts too. thanks a million, Thomas H. |

Hi Eric,
Have you had a chance to hear the new ABC album, "Traffic"? I know you're a fan from one of your previous comments. It's available from Amazon UK & CD WOW at a reasonable price. I think It's a fantastic album and have been playing it non-stop since it arrived. It may not be the most innovative album they've recorded, but it's as good as anything they've ever done musically. David Palmer, the drummer from the Lexicon era is back and his influence seems to have made this album more diverse & rhythm orientated than the previous album,'"Skyscraping", back in 1997. "Skyscaping" was a great album too & very melodic, but it may have been hampered a bit by the drum programming thoughout. |

Hi Eric,
Back in 1997 you gave me two of your CD's and I tucked them away until now, I wanted to thank you for them and complement you on your achievements in your music career. I worked for John's Frame Shop at the time, worked on I believe was your black 64 Ford and 62 Ford if my memory serves me correctly. Take care, Mark |

Mr. Matthews, many thanks for creating such a wonderful record. It's warm and delightful. Would you please post the lyrics?
Have been a fan of yours since the distant days of 1995. - Gustavo |
